The Black and The Rogers Families
This site includes the Black family tree of the Arkansas/Indiana/Mississippi Blacks and the Rogers family tree of northern Mississippi.
The Black Family The Rogers Family
This Black family tree begins in Virginia around 1770. This particular family then migrated west into Indiana. There is a brief history of this family in DuBois county and then Warrick county of Indiana. While some stayed in Indiana, others that created this tree left. They  moved to southern Missourri around 1910. Not much information has been found about their stay in Stoddard county Missouri, but around 1930, they again migrated south to Greene county Arkansas. The majority of information about this family is from Arkansas. The Blacks that were born here, then moved on to Mississippi and Tennessee, where they are presently living today. This Rogers family is from the northern Mississippi and west Tennessee area. They seemed to have lived here for many generations and moved little out of the area. The Rogers of this particular family are still living in the same area today.
